Spring is in the air!

Yes, once again, it's spring time. I was finally able to buy some fresh herb plants. I love fresh herbs for cooking. Jakob helped with painting the pots. He made some interpretive art. One is Chives and the other is his favorite herb - rosemary. Noah and Ben helped with the dirt and clean up. I can't wait to cook with these delicious flavors. Next up - the big garden!! I'm hoping to plant lots of tomatoes and snap peas, and hopefully, the strawberries will come back. They don't seem to be damaged by the snow or frost. I can't wait to do some outdoor living and growing.

Spring Break

We had a lovely visit from the Schrag Srs. Marcy and Robert (Oma and Opa) spent Marcy's spring break in rain-soaked SE Ohio. There wasn't much we could do because of the rain and flooding in the area but we still had a good time. We played trains, basketball, soccer, and had an easter egg hunt after the rain stopped. Jakob and Noah had soccer games which were very fun. We miss Oma and Opa already. Noah and Ben wanted to send a message.
